Before moving into an existing or new home in Innisfail, please call the Town Office at (403) 227-3376 to set up your Utilities account.
Each home has a water meter installed in the house, which
records your water usage in either cubic meters or cubic feet.
Most houses have a remote reading device on the exterior of
the house. The meter is read every month by ATCO Gas employees.
If there is no remote on your house you may receive a yellow
tag asking you to read your meter and call the reading into
the Town Office. You can call anytime with your reading, preferably
one or two days after receiving the yellow tag. If you call
after hours, simply leave a message with the answering service
that includes your name, address and meter reading.
Every month you will receive a combined Utilities Statement
for your water usage, sewer services and garbage removal.
The current minimum charge for these services is $37.50; the
actual amount of your bill depends on your level of water
consumption. Your bill is always for the previous month usage
– for example, in June you will receive a bill for April
usage.
Services may be disconnected after 60 days following the date of billing on unpaid accounts.
