A new modern 25-metre indoor swimming pool with hot tub and sauna is open year-round. Other facilities include 3 asphalt tennis courts, outdoor water park, skateboard park, BMX course, 12 shale horseshoe pits, 8 shale baseball diamonds, soccer pitches, hiking trails, x-country ski trails, wildlife viewing platform, water-skiing on Dodds Lake, ski hill with rope tow, and numerous neighborhood parks, playgrounds, and paved biking trails. Campgrounds and Trails

Anthony Henday Campground
CampgroundThe Anthony Henday Campground is a Town of Innisfail facility open for camping from May to October. The campground is located on the northwest corner of Town where 56 Street intersects with Highway 54. The easiest route to finding the campground is to stay on Highway 54 (Main Street) from the Highway 2 overpass all the way through town to the west, cross the tracks, and past the cemetery before turning right just before leaving town to the west. More information is available from the Innisfail Town Office at 403-227-3376 or email to townhall@innisfail.ca

The campground has 40 sites, all of which are serviced with 15 amp electricity. Rates are $13.00 for power sites and $10.00 for tenting. There is a camp kitchen and playground facilities on site. In 2008 the washroom building underwent extensive renovations with new commercial grade showers, sinks and toilets installed. firewood is also available. Tap water is available at several yard hydrants on the grounds, sewage disposal site is located just up the road at the Tourist Booth or across town on Highway 2A.

Centennial Park
Centennial Park, is Innisfail’s largest park and consists of natural and groomed areas. In the Fall of 2003, a committee, consisting of various community stakeholders, was formed to design a master park plan that would maintain existing features and natural areas of the 100 acres around Napolean Lake & Upland Aspen, and incorporate new and/or improved recreational amenities in the area.

With the help of a team from Olds College, a comprehensive design plan was created. This plan includes day use areas with picnic facilities, fire-pits, playgrounds, a gazebo, an amphitheater, a Memorial Park, a trail system with interpretive signs, and an improved skateboard park and BMX track. The components of the Centennial Park Design Plan are now being taken on as projects by the various stakeholders within our community. For example, the Innisfail Kinsmen Club built a playground in the day use area with an estimated value of $88,000.

Destiny Trails
The Destiny Trails system of paved and natural trails links the entire town with a 20 km trail network. The trail network provides recreational trails for walking, jogging, bicycling, in-line skating, and cross country skiing in winter.
