  Important Dates  
     
  Nomination Day (Notice of Nomination Day Advertisement)  
  * Date: Monday, September 20, 2010  
  * Time: Between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon  
  * Location: Town Hall, 4943 - 53 Street, Innisfail, AB, T4G 0A5  
     
  IMPORTANT! Per the Town of Innisfail Election Bylaw #1488 a $100 deposit is required when you bring in your nomination paper. This deposit is refunded if you are elected or if you receive at least 1/2 of the votes of the last person elected for the office you are nominated for. Per the Local Authorities Election Act the $100 deposit MUST be by cash, certified cheque or money order.  
     
  Election Voting: Monday, October 18, 2010  
  * Advance Poll #1 - Friday, October 15, 2010, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers  
  * Advance Poll #2 - Saturday, October 16, 2010, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Council Chambers  
  * Election Day - Monday, October 18, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Innisfail Alliance Church.  
     
  An online training site, for prospective Councillors, is located at www.elections2010.info. The nearest Candidates training session is in Red Deer on August 31st.
