IMPORTANT! Per the Town of Innisfail Election Bylaw #1488 a $100 deposit is required when you bring in your nomination paper. This deposit is refunded if you are elected or if you receive at least 1/2 of the votes of the last person elected for the office you are nominated for. Per the Local Authorities Election Act the $100 deposit MUST be by cash, certified cheque or money order. |
